Soolong cares about your privacy. We therefore only process the data we need and handle the information we have about you and your use of our website with care. This privacy statement applies to the website soolong.com, in all its language and country versions, and to the business emails we send. Soolong is a trade name of Previtality B.V. Wherever Soolong is written, Previtality B.V. may also be read, and vice versa.
When a new version is published, all previous versions cease to be valid.
1. Who is responsible
The controller for the data described in this statement is:
Previtality B.V. (Soolong)
Vennestraat 54K
2161 LE Lisse, the Netherlands
Chamber of Commerce 68097247
Email: info@soolong.com
Phone: +31 88 373 7000
2. In brief
- There is no webshop, no account and no newsletter sign-up on soolong.com.
- We measure visits with Google Analytics. Google Analytics cookies and the Meta pixel are only used if you accept them in the cookie notice.
- We only process data needed to run and secure the website, and data you enter yourself: in the contact form, in the stockist finder or in a job application.
- We never sell your data.
3. Visiting the website
The website runs on the Cloudflare network, which also protects the site, for example against attacks and abuse. With every visit, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, the time, the page requested and your browser details (user agent), among other things in server logs.
Based on your IP address, Cloudflare also determines the country from which you are visiting the site. We use it to suggest the country version of the site that suits you. We do not store the country for that suggestion (but see the contact form and the stockist finder below).
Fonts, photos and videos come from our own website. A link to, for example, YouTube, Instagram or one of our partners opens that party’s website; their privacy policy applies there.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, properly working website.
4. Contact form
If you use the contact form, we process your name, your email address and your message, as well as the country version and the page from which you send the form, and the country that Cloudflare derives from your IP address (an estimate, so we can pass your message to the right colleagues). Your message is sent by email via Google Workspace to b2b@soolong.com. We use this data to reply to your message.
The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that the form is being sent by a human. For this, Turnstile processes technical data from your browser and device.
To prevent abuse, only a limited number of messages per hour and per day can be sent from a single connection. For this, we keep your IP address (for IPv6 only the /64 prefix) and the time for 48 hours in a Cloudflare database (D1). After that, we delete this data.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in replying to your message and preventing abuse of the form.
5. Stockist finder
In the stockist finder (on the Dutch and Belgian versions of the site) you search by postcode for stockists near you. If you click ‘Use my location’, your browser (after you allow it in the browser) sends your location to our server, which immediately turns it into a postcode.
To prevent our list of stockists from being copied in its entirety, you can search a limited number of postcodes per 24 hours. For this, we record with every search: the time, the postcode, your IP address (for IPv6 only the /64 prefix), a random code from the functional cookie sl_bz (see Cookies), the country, place and network provider derived from your IP address, and your browser details and language setting. We need this data for 24 hours; after 48 hours it is deleted.
In the event of obvious abuse, we block the IP address for 24 hours from the stockist finder and the contact form, and we receive an internal email notification with the IP address and the data above.
To convert a postcode into a place on the map, we use Google Geocoding. Our server only sends the postcode (or the coordinates of your location) to Google, not your IP address. We keep converted postcodes without any link to you, so that we do not need to look them up again.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a working stockist finder and in protecting our list of stockists.
6. Google Maps
The map in the stockist finder comes from Google Maps. The map only loads when you choose to load it by clicking on it. Your browser then fetches the map directly from Google, and Google receives your IP address, among other things. For that part, the Google Maps terms and the Google privacy policy apply.
7. Instagram
We show the Instagram images on our site through our own server. Your browser does not connect to Instagram or Meta for this, and no Meta cookies are placed. If you click an image, you go to Instagram and Meta’s privacy policy applies.
8. Job applications
If you apply for a vacancy by email, we only use the data you send us (such as your CV and motivation letter) for the application procedure. We do not keep it longer than necessary.
9. Read receipts and click tracking in our emails
In some of the business emails we (Previtality B.V., operating under the names Soolong, Vintea and O.OMG) send, our logo or a small, invisible image is loaded via a unique web address on t.soolong.com, and links are routed through the same address. This allows us to see if and when an email has been opened and whether a link has been clicked. We do this to properly follow up on our customer communications (such as a quote or order); the legal basis is our legitimate interest.
We record the following: the time an email was opened or a link was clicked, which link was clicked, the IP address, the location (country, region, city) and the internet service provider derived from it, and the technical details of the email program or browser (user agent). We do not use this data for profiling or advertising and do not share it with third parties; the data is stored with our processor Cloudflare. The data is automatically deleted after 90 days.
You can prevent this by disabling automatic image loading in your email program. If you would like us to delete this data about you sooner, or if you would like to access it, please email info@soolong.com.
10. Cookies
On your first visit, a small notice in the bottom right corner asks whether you accept cookies for statistics and advertising. You can change your choice at any time via ‘Cookie settings’ at the bottom of every page; after 180 days we ask again.
- Without your consent, we measure visits with Google Analytics without cookies: for each page, Google receives technical data (the page, the time, your browser and device, and the country and region derived from your IP address), but places nothing in your browser and does not recognise you on a later visit. Google also uses these signals to estimate total traffic. In that case we do not load the Meta pixel.
- With your consent, Google Analytics and the Meta pixel place cookies. This shows us how visitors use the website and which campaigns lead to visits or contact, and allows us to show ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who visited the website before. The Meta pixel also records which pages you view and which buttons you click.
Google (Google Ireland Ltd.) and Meta (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) receive, among other things, your IP address and information about your browser and device; Google Analytics does not store IP addresses. Both may also process data in the United States and participate in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for that purpose. See also Google’s privacy policy and Meta’s privacy policy.
Legal basis: your consent for the cookies and the Meta pixel; for measuring without cookies, our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used.
These are the cookies and data stored in your browser:
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| sl_bz | A random code for the limit of the stockist finder (see above). Scripts on the page cannot read the cookie. | Technically remains in your browser for up to a year; we delete the searches linked to it after 48 hours. |
| _ga | Google Analytics: distinguishes visitors (only with your consent). | 2 years |
| _ga_6TBHX8LRR2 | Google Analytics: keeps track of your visit (session) (only with your consent). | 2 years |
| _fbp | Meta pixel: recognises your browser to measure and target ads (only with your consent). | 3 months |
| _fbc | Meta pixel: remembers that you arrived via an ad on Facebook or Instagram (only with your consent). | 3 months |
| sl_cookies | Remembers your choice in the cookie notice. This is not a cookie but local storage in your browser; nothing is sent to us or anyone else. | 180 days |
You can delete cookies yourself through your browser settings, or set your browser so that it no longer stores cookies.

11. Sharing personal data with third parties
Soolong treats your personal data confidentially. We will never sell your data to other parties. Soolong only makes personal data available to other parties if they are contracted by us and perform services for us, or if required by law. For this website, these are:
- Cloudflare: hosting and security of the website, Turnstile, the database of the contact form and the stockist finder, and the storage of read receipts and click tracking;
- Google: Google Workspace for our email, Google Geocoding for the stockist finder and Google Analytics to measure visits (see Cookies);
- Meta: the Meta pixel, only with your consent (see Cookies).
Cloudflare and Google act as processors for Soolong. Soolong and Meta are jointly responsible for collecting and transmitting data via the Meta pixel; what Meta then does with that data is governed by Meta’s privacy policy. Cloudflare, Google and Meta may also process data outside the European Economic Area. In all cases, we ensure that these parties comply with good safeguards for the privacy and security of your personal data. For the Google Maps map, see above.
12. Automated decision-making
Soolong does not make decisions about matters that could (significantly) affect individuals based on automated processing. These are decisions made by computer programs or systems without a human being (for example an employee of Soolong) involved. The automatic limit and block of the stockist finder only apply to the use of the finder and the contact form.
13. How long we keep data
- Searches in the stockist finder, and IP address and time for the contact form: 48 hours.
- Blocking of an IP address in the event of abuse: 24 hours.
- Read receipts and click tracking in emails: 90 days.
- Google Analytics: no more than 14 months; for the cookies, see Cookies. Meta: in accordance with Meta’s privacy policy.
- Messages via the contact form, job applications and other data: no longer than necessary. Our aim is to destroy personal data as soon as we no longer need it to achieve our purposes.
14. How we secure personal data
Soolong takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. If you feel that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact us at info@soolong.com.
15. Your rights
- You have the right to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data.
- You have the right to object. This means that you can object to the use of your (personal) data by Soolong.
- You have the right to data portability. This means that you can ask us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or to another organisation named by you. Soolong is not responsible for how the other organisation processes this data.
- You can send a request for access, correction, deletion or transfer of your personal data, or a request to withdraw your consent or an objection to the processing of your personal data, to info@soolong.com.
To make sure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to include a copy of your identity document with your request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, the MRZ (machine-readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), your passport number and your Dutch citizen service number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, and in any case within four weeks.
You always have the option of filing a complaint about the use of personal data by Soolong, or if you disagree with our decision on a request. First with us, so that we can learn from it, but if you are not satisfied with our response, with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
16. Changes and contact
We reserve the right to make changes to this privacy statement. Please check this statement regularly for any changes to our policy.
If you have any questions or comments about this privacy statement, you can always contact us at info@soolong.com.
