The delicious pure oolongs, ranging from a slightly heavier more pronounced oolong, to an oolong with a silky smooth taste come from Wuhan the capital of Hubei Province in China. Many know the Silk Road, while the “Camel Route of the grasslands” is less well known.
From the late 17th century, during the Qing Dynasty, Wuhan was the starting point of the tea trade route to Mongolia. This trade route was also called the “Camel Route of the grasslands.”
