Green rooibos is dried immediately after cutting so that no fermentation process can take place. This keeps the rooibos green in color and is also less sweet than the red rooibos. The combination with sweet blackberry leaves and natural vanilla gives this herbal blend a surprisingly velvety smooth flavor. This delicious blend is therefore among our best sellers.

Green rooibos origin: South Africa
Region: Cederberg, Western Cape
Rooibos originally grows only in South Africa around the Western Cape. Yet when many people think of South Africa, they think of the Cape of Good Hope, or the southernmost part of Africa. Traditionally, the Cape of Good Hope is seen as marking the transition between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian Ocean. And what an experience this is. The raging wind through your hair and hypnotized at the sight of an insanely vast expanse of waves all the way to the horizon. It feels like “the end of the world” and at the same time is the beginning of a fantastic new experience.
Our “See” line is about seeing and discovering. “Because there is so much more to see and discover in the world.” Red rooibos is known to many, but let yourself be surprised by the amazing taste experience of green rooibos. Unlike the “red” rooibos known to many, green rooibos has not undergone a fermentation process so the color remains green and is just a little less sweet than “red” rooibos.
